| the screaming thing has gone away because (and im quoting Matt Heafy in a guitar player magazine interview) "when the band was first started he screamed because he was going thru puberty (13 years old) and he stuck with it. now he has (as have the rest of the band) grown up and decided that it was time for real singing." that isnt an exact quote, but close enough 2 wut he said. btw, i liked the screaming 2 but metal isnt about screaming. its about the music. screaming isnt music. | |

| If you want screaming, there are plenty of other bands out there that do nothing but it. Lately, the screaming has totally replaced singing. It's nice to hear a metal band sing actually. Don't get me wrong, I love screaming to, but only at the right parts of songs...not all the time. | |

| They don't scream either. Duh. And they're (or were) true thrash metal. From Wikipedia: "The four most popular and arguably influential thrash metal bands of the 80's: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax". Sit down you clown. | |

| I'm tired of people whining about Matt's decision to drop screaming. Thrash has never really had 'screaming' as heard in most metal, but a gutteral-ish singing. Heafy pulls it off well and The Crusade kicked ass. Stop bitching. | |

| I've been hearing this song could possibly be about Andrea Pia Yates. The woman in Texas who drowned her kids in a tub. She also mentioned something about the seventh sin. | |

| Seems this discussion got side-tracked a bit... I don't mind Trivium's new style, but I do prefer the old style still. It's probably gone for good now though, so I plan to try and make the best of what they've become now. Anyway... At the end of the last verse, there is a line missing, which is "Innocence chased down and drowned". So, it should read: Conditions worsen Searching for answers In holy scriptures Systematic plan Water fills the tub All of her children Floating lifelessly Innocence chased down and drowned | |

| This song has a great Mid 80's Metallica feel, as does the whole cd. I think it is great to hear a band go back a true Thrash Metal style. | |
