| I think this song is about someone who was in with a bunch of junkies but he wouldn’t join (‘Syphillis is a bitch but contracting HIV is much worse.’) them so they left him, he found new friends ‘but sometimes it all depends on how tall they all against yourself.’ The main character back in time represents looking back on his life and deciding when he was happier; trying to sane up with his junkie friends or trying to keep up with his new ones. Or that’s what I get out of it, at least. Either way, it’s a great song. | |
