outro
feedback
I want to live with a Cinnamon Girl
I could be happy the rest of my life with her
A dreamer of pictures I run in the night
You see us together chase the moonlight
Ten silver saxes a bass with a bow
The drummer relaxes, waits between shows
A dreamer of pictures I run in the night
You see us together chase the moonlight
Ma send me money now I'm gonna make it somehow
I need another chance
You see my baby loves to dance yeah, yeah, yeah

| How can anybody say Neil Young sucks as a singer? This song is a great song, but I don't think it's as good as the orginal. | |

| UMMMM .... NO. This is actually one of my favs by T.O.N.; its a remake of a neil young classic in case you didnt get the memo. But seriouslly its a pretty damn good one. The meaning is simple and to the point pretty much its about an artist/singer/rockstar who comes to his cinnimon girl after the tretous hours of touring and working your ass off. She dosnt like that the speaker is struglling but they stick it otut together. :) :) | |

| I wonder, how come no one has come to idea that 'cinnamon' could refer to the color of this girl's hair? I get it that way, though of course, I could be wrong. | |

| this is my favorite t.o.n. cover, and i remember watching something SOMEwhere that pertained to this song. i'm pretty sure neil young was tripping out on all sorts of acid when he wrote this. i don't believe he knows what it means either. | |

| The reference to a "cinnamon girl" can be thought of as either a spicy-sweet girl or a girl with a cinnamon complection. In either case, she's a refuge from the riggors of the nightly grind to make it big; a supporter of the artist's dream. Oh, and as for the fact it's a remake...I MUCH prefer this version to the original. Niel Young sucks as a singer, he write's well though. | |
