**INTRO**

D5 - x577xx

At the beginning of the song The Edge plays a D5 chord that he modifies with
his DigiTech "Whammy". So he can create this special sound.
If you haven't got a "Whammy" you can create a similar sound
with a small trick.
Play the Ab and the Db string together and repeat this 2 times,
then play the Gb string and the other 2 strings alternately.

So, that's it, not very difficult.

I'm not sure on what this means, whether it is saying that someting that doesnt properley exist is better than its "real" counterpart or what. But its one hell of a good song, very enjoyable.

One the greatest songs written, composed, and perform. Just for the simple fact the words can be related to everybody and every selfish greed.....whether it be money, drugs, love, feeling of self......."You take me Higher"....

This is a sex song. Proves you don't have to be the Red Hot Chili Peppers to make a good sex song!

Gottfried von Strasburg & Madison Cawein [paraphrased] And now the maiden and the man Isolde fair and bold Tristan Have drunk the draught without delay Over their hearts to hold her sway Came Love—all world’s restlessness Heart way layer—their chief distress Before they understood their plight She changed their hearing—and their sight She closed their eyes—and made them purr She filled them with desire and lure Their joys and sorrows—strange to say Were but one—in wondrous way If he was hurt—she felt his pain Love my sweet wind and my man rain

I'll take your word for it, IanoDublin! ;) I thoroughly enjoy the song, though... it is a great song to listen to while you drive home from work. Well, let's face it, ANY song sounds good after you get out of work, but this is definitely an ego-booster.
