	i disagree. i think its about following your idols, trying to retrace the footsteps of his favourite musicians and rockstars.

	In the Rolling Stone interview Bono says that this song is about agape love. The Greek apparantly have three words for love: agape love is unconditional love, like the love for God. 	Just to get this out there, this was the 2ND SINGLE U2 ever released. "A Day Without Me" was the first one. I learned this off of Wikipedia, which has to be the greatest site ever invented. Along with songmeanings, of course.

	In the book U2 Into The Heart it says that he wrote this song about following his mother throu the next life, and wherever she may go. So in a way, it can be related to God because of the afterlife, but the book says that Bono would follow his mother no matter what, and the growth from a boy to a man. I also think he got a couple of the lines from Amazing Grace "I was blind but now I see, and I was lost but now I'm found" -J

	Can you imagine how good this song was for Bono to write a after his mother passed away?? Most of us don't have a band for that kind of outlet, but the message is clear: he was too young to pay good attention to his mother but then he realizes he'll follow her example... These are my favorite lines: "I was on the inside When they pulled the four walls down I was looking through the window I was lost, I am found" I also heard Bono lost his father...but I'll say Bono is a really good role model in our public eye...its amazing.
