| okay, first of all.. i don't think that at the end of the song, it says " you're not everything " i think it's just, you're not here with me. but anyways.. it is truely a wonderful song, but i'm not 100% sure on what this song means. the last part "whatever i say goes.. you're not here with me " and so on, i think it's about like a breakup.. or him thinking that she really doesn't care about him. for example, i don't believe anyone cares about me, but everyone is always like "omg, i love you, why don't you see it? " so, like.. i'm bascilly saying " whatever i say goes. you DONT care, and i know it. you aren't here with me. " okay, now i sound like an idiot. | |

| The song seems to be from the point of view by someone who has rejected God in their life and continues to do whatever they want. They no longer feel the presence of God in their life (This time Id be nervous cause I cant see your hands / In front of me) because they've rejected Him. Overall, the song seems to be in complete defiance of God. Just my interpretation, I could be completely wrong. | |
