This song talks about God and/or a special friend that stands by you all the time. They're there for you when you most need them. And it makes sense because sometimes God betrays you. Well, It's more like something goes wrong and you blame God for 'not being there'. This song is one of my favorites. I adore the beginning. (:

This is a song that describes when a friend is there to get you through a time of desperation...and how much it meant to have them there to help you make it through.

Thank You Timmus, you are correct, considering Underoath are a band serving the Lord. The song can be interpreted in many ways, obviously, but if you know Underoath, you know exactly what the lyrics are saying. Awesome band, awesome lyrics. Praise Jesus!
