| i agree with ^this guy^ all previous "loves" he had known were based on lust, but the love he had for jesus was pure. nothing can top that love. | |

| Well..i guess its not that self explanatory if thats all you got out of it.....maybe that why this song hasnt been commented on more. This song is deffinately about an addiction to sexual sin. He can't get away, "tears run down my face just like .... yesterday...dirt never washes away....love was lust." Deffinately feel the pain in this song. | |

| punkkid6312 has it right. Sin offends God and essentially breaks his heart. (song title) First he is sad b/c he can't seem to break free from the sin (No different than yesterday). Then he is disgusted with what he has done (sick from the mirror). He prays/repents (do these prayers feel sincere?). He finally gets over his sin/satan (grew to love YOUR LIES until I put YOU in the past...Until you revealed the MAN behing the mask.) Satan decieves. He still feels pain from his past and wonders how he will go on in this world (will the scars go away in this world i have no place) Surrenders completely to Jesus and asks Jesus to give him strength and cleanse him b/c he can't on his own. (alone it never did me any good hold me close, wash my mind) New life in Christ, old self dies...(Destroy the me that lives inside). | |

| this song is extremely inspiring. it's about a guy who is committed to having sex and being sinful, but after someone breaks his heart, he finally realizes it belongs to God. The song is so powerful. | |
