I agree with the-orange-i-choked about the meaning, seems pretty accurate. but for me, personally, its about being in a place you really dont want to be.......

AAGH! not ABOUT aliens, he feels like an alien where he is, somewhere he doesn't want to be. He is 'trusting the Driver' by sticking to the task at hand, but really doesn't want to be there. Its one of the songs that relates to me in the way that he feels like going home, but knows he needs to be here right now, serving God.

This has to be one of the best songs from this album. I really love Aarons drum work at the very start of the song, really good stuff. I think that perhaps the song describes the narrator just hopping in his car and goin for a drive nowhere in particular just to think and have quiet time in the serene blur of the nightime passing by. "Silence is golden"

so the orange I choked song version is almost correct. but no, you fail. the line that no one can get right is: it's all a blur, it's too dark to see ain't it pretty the way it all streaks together at night?

[correct lyrics] "prop open the door i can actually, see, my, breath, tonight... but that doesn't mean i'm breathing crack a smile, just for the sake of it this could take awhile...a long while" "i'm not to sure, that i want it to be this way opened mouth closed eyes, no words are escaping" and later it is..."aint it pretty how it all streaks together at night...together at night" ..."try to think of something quick and trust the direction, of the DRIVER" "NO LIGHTS...NO SIGNS I'M AT A LOSS FOR WORDS .....NOW CONVERSATION SPARKS WHAT AN EASY WAY, TO BREAK THE ICE" this song is about two strangers that are looking sex in the eye and they haven't even met before and both want to stop and just leave..."i think its time to turn around"...they both want "out". and at the end of the song "try to think of something quick...and trust the direction, of the driver" thats saying the christian of the two knows he must do something quick and trust God to get him out.... "now confersation sparks...what an easy way to break the ice"....he just simply talks to her to get him out of the situation and he gets to know her....and he gets out people come on this band is amazing

This is probably one of my favorite songs by them right now. "I'm not too sure that I want it to be this way Open mouth closed eyes No words are escaping" I like that part a lot. It's pretty.

OK FIRST OF ALL I LOVE THIS SONG ITS BEST OF ALL TIME IN MY LIFE AND ALWAYS WILL BE UNLESS UNDEROATH CREATES A BETTER SONG. anyways sorry about the caps... this is about ALIENS, i no its sounds farfetch but aaron(the drummer) said at a live show right before this song came on that this song is about aliens i wanna everyone sing! at first i thought it couldn't be i read the words over and over again and think about a boy or man gettin woken up one night all shoked and gettin unbducted by aliens .....after u feel what im feeling u'll get AND THIS IS THE REAL REASON GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!
