| They were better back then compared to everything they made after Cries of the Past. Even so, Cries of the Past is their best album. The lyrics to this song are kind of cheesy, but this song sounds great and has a good message. I love old Underoath!! | |

| and this is one of the best examples of why Dallas is one of the best lyricists out there,he's not afraid to say EXACTLY what he thinks, and he does it in an unapologetic, extremely powerful way. | |

| i kinda agree with the guy above me. I wouldnt say they were better back then but i liked there style better back then.and there lyrics more. in all the songs on the first EP. you dont really have to sit around trying to figure out what the song means casue they just come right out and say it. I love it!! | |

| Alot of the stuff on the album 'act of depression' is pretty obvious, but they were still better back then. | |

| old underoath is cool because they are not afraid to speak of their relgion and their old music is what started the bug of me longing to go back to church and not be afraid to speak of my faith or of God. :] | |

| im not going to say that the lyrics are anywhere near brilliant, and either is the songs message. But I do whole-heartedly agree with it. And for that I give them props | |
