This is a lovely fiddle tune that sounds great on guitar. It was the
theme song to an (American) public television series called _The
(American) Civil War_.  It's a waltz with a very soulful melody - don't
rush it. Notes in parentheses are ``optional.'' - I don't think
they're in the original, but they sound good IMO. The chord
progression is pretty straightforward, but note the unusual vi - V7
progression, instead of the usual ii - V7. If there are any mistakes
