Artist: Unloco
Song: Texas
Album: Becoming I
Tuning: C# Standard
Author: Mike Smith (sublime56@hotmail.com)

A great acoustic ballad. This song really got to me and I saw that there
isn't a single tab out there on the internet, so I decided to mesh it out.
It's not too terribly hard.

I had this song tabbed in Standard before, but it's in C# Standard which
is C# F# B E g# c#, from top to bottom. I listened to the song over and
over again because it just didn't sound right in Standard, but this is
definitely correct now.

this song is amazing. it pretty much speaks for itself, but what i want to know is what Texas has to do with the song. Sure, Texans (like me) are extremely patriotic regarding our state, and i know they are from Texas, but what is the connection??

I don't know what this song has to do with Texas either because, to me, it symbolizes a relationship gone bad with a girl. He has deep feelings for her, but she doesn't feel the same way towards him. Its really obvious if you just listen to the song.

Yes, I think it is because he missed being in texas on tour, I read it some where. So he named it Texas, this song being, about Texas. With alot of symbolism in it. In which now, the lead singer has moved to California, so I dont know what he was talkin about. ha.
