| at first i thought "oh, girlfriend obvious." but then i saw these lines "and i want to go anywhere but home i im done with listening to whats wrong with me" and that sounds more like his mother. there's aso the comment earlier in the song... "and mother ived tried, over and over to open my eyes look at my life and tell me when did i die cuz im not alive" which also makes me lean a bit towards the mother...i'm not sure what my opinion is. i'd like to KNOW for sure, if anyone's seen an interview with the band or anything let me know. it's a great song. | |

| ^one above is my opinion too. o and the father ive sinned part and mother ive tried part could be another reason he cheated on her like "father ive sinned, over and over and over and over again" could mean he was with another girl and he was "doing stuff" with her over and over and the "mother ive tried, over and over and over to open my eyes" could mean he was trying to stop but he couldn't because the other girl might have been like- addicting in some way. | |

| russo said its about ppl being ppl and someone telling u that they dont love u any more.. and apparently he got the cops called upon him and so the songs ends with police... also his girlfriend said to him 'i dont love u like i love u anymore' thinking its a great phrase he wrote it in to the song... pretty sweet | |

| ok don't kill my because of my opinion..it's just an opinion... i think he's praying to God, and to his mother who is in heaven...and he is singing about his drug/alcohol addiction, and how his girlfriend.. Father ive sinned over and over and over and over again sorry my friends, im such a mess im doing the best i can ---drugs or drinking problem. praying to God.---- she says where ya goin where ya been she says i dont want you hanging out with them she leaves like she is never coming back again ---his girlfriend is warning him because he's hanging out with people who drink and do drugs, and she's leaving him because of it.---- and mother ived tried, over and over to open my eyes look at my life and tell me when did i die cuz im not alive flip through the script and tell me what it says skip through the story tell me how it ends she says that were probably better off as friends ---he's praying to his mother who is in heaven, and he thinks she knows his future, and what's going to happen to him. he thinks he's going to die from the alcohol and/or drugs. and he's telling his mother that his girlfriend thought they'd be better as friends.--- you, you call the police, you called them on me and i want to go anywhere but home i im done with listening to whats wrong with me cuz it goes on and on and on and on yeahh ---this part is confusing. maybe he's telling his mother what happened between him and his girlfriend. she called the cops and he told her he didn't want to go home because somebody is always yelling at him for doing things wrong (father?...who is mad at him for his mother's death?) if anyone has any idea of what the last part might mean, that is if you agree with my interpretation, i'm open to suggestions. | |

| how bout it has nothing to do with his mother or father or god. Notice the references to "mother" and "Father" are only made once each and speaking about over and over again. The song is self explanatory is about a girl who treats him like crap- always fighting and leaving, then returning later to make up, telling him everything that's 'wrong' with him and keeping him fromhis friends. the sin he's committed over and over again is taking her back constantly, and believing her excuses. | |

| I love this song. It definately is about a girl telling him she doesn't love him anymore...hint: MAYBE about she found another guy or he cheated on her. "she leaves like she never coming back again." probably about she keeps leaving him but he knows she'll come back eventually because she keeps leaving. "she says, where you going, where you been? she says i dont want you hanging out with them" she is worried about his safety and she is probably worried he might be cheating on her. well thats what i think at least. | |

| Well i think it is about a relationship with a girl who separated the boy from his friends. And now that they are not together, the boy is trying to apologize. He is also asking his mother for help, cause he hadn't realised what he had done: " over and over to open my eyes". The final part of the song talks about how the boy gets rejected when he tries to make amends with the girl, and how he find that the only thing that the girl said is the bad things he does, so he finally find out he is better without her. Great song, I love it. | |
