| yea just like the first cd its hard to grasp and understand bert and the music but yea this song is a really good song and i think it talking about the obvious- girls... i think its also easy to see bert is tired of this bitch who just annoys him and he shuts her down... or you can look at it as the press and society that pushes us to do stupid things and i think that bert is tired of it.. he's shutting them down.. good song | |

| Well, these are lyrics are based on somsone just listening to tracks, and they wanted to get lyrics up as soon as possible, and they did it before the CD was out, so lets not get mad at someone for them trying their best. This is a great album, took about a week to get use to it, but I'm really liking it now. | |

| Seriously. This song is 'effing awesome OH MY GOD. I love it. It reminds me of going insane. Seriously. I 'effing love it. To me it basically means... That the person is going insane with all these problems, and issues are taking over, and people just keep yelling at critiscing him, and that he can't take it anymore so he just blocks it out. "One two three four! Lights out I can't stand to hear you scream While we were making love I was fast asleep And the night sky better give something up Give something up" "While we were making love I was fast asleep" DAMN. WHAT A INSULT. Lol! But seriously, I think it means, that after all she/he has put him through, he just doesn't want to try anymore, and is sick of it all... wether their making love or not. It doesnt matter. " Your skin attached This fragile cliche of my broken heart attack You need to swallow your teeth And hang out to stay for a while " Easy to interpret. Also, the lyrics are wrong btw. "Your skin attached, This fragile cliche of my broken heart attack. You should swallow your teeth and hang out, and stay for awhile." Anyway, it means that whoever he's talking about needs to swallow their pride, calm the hell down and get themselves together and stop critiscing him. What he means is, that they need to realize that they themselves are not perfect. Therefore, why tell him he's not right, and or yell at him? Even he states: "Lights out, I cant stand to hear you scream" He can't -Stand- it. I think the lyrics speak for themselves. The thing that ties this song together is Berts INSANE laughter, which just brings EVERYTHING together in EVERY song. I admire him. He's crazy. And his laugh, it brings me to the edge. It's EXACTLY what I feel like doing. Insanity at its best. This song rules. | |

| Haha. Imperfection, I noticed that Evanesence thing. The song has -nothing- to do with women. It's about posers. Bert's even said it. It's about the stupid Hot Topic kids who listens to music because their friends do, or because it's popular...and they don't really -listen- to it, they're just hearing it. | |

| i absolutely love this song. first off, this song is obviously meaning that there's these kids who are listening to music that they don't even understand. its like this kid who tries really hard to fit in and starts listening to music that their "friends" are listening to. -it's kinda funny how i'm not listening anyway- the thing is that they don't know the true meaning of the songs so they're not actually "listening" to it. overall, it's a great song by a great band. | |
