	i think this song is about this guy who loves his girl but he knows they are gonna break apart and he doesnt want it to happen and because he feels this way he thinks everything is falling down at his feet and say marry me stay the same is his way of saying dont leave alone i just want things to be the way they were before... and hes gonna try ot make it better but cant and tried to swallow the truth (said fuck it im fine) but in all hes just trying to prepare him self for a big let-down

	This is my absolute favorite song by THE USED (can't you tell by my username) although all their songs are incredible and its hard to pick out just one. This song is about a very cute relationship between a young guy and girl. They love each other very much and are very devoted to one another but don't think of marriage, growing old, all those 'adult things.' Marry Me, Stay The Same--is Bert's way of saying "Marry Me! But don't turn into a housewife! I love you! Stay the same! Then "Lie to me and say you never will" is his reference to their childlike fighting where she swears she will never marry him but is ultimatley lying because she loves him so much. When he sings the first verse, it means he's SO struck with love he can hardly rock. He can hardly do ANYTHING because he loves this girl so much and won't be able to function until he knows her heart is his. The second verse is about them making up "I've got a feeling in my guy now feels me with so much hope," hope of them getting back together, as they always do. "Said fuck it--I'm fine" is going back to them fighting again and him telling himself he's fine without her, although he knows he needs her. "Dine and dashed the pianist peddled into morning" is referring to him making in into another day, even though he's full of hurt and jaded from the fights with his loved one. This song is about the most BEAUTiFUL young love you can IMAGiNE! I only wish the girl he's singing of were me.

	It seems to me like living a lie. Like how this relationship is broken in ever way, including the two lovers... But he will do whatever he can to keep things going. That he will marry her, that he doesn't even expect her to change for him, he'll do anything. Even if she is to lie about how she is with him 'till death do they part. Yet, with such sparse lyrics, I can't help be look at this song as something so successfully grand. The Used really have heart, and even in an interview they stated that basically this whole album is just like puking. That the singer is merely regurgitating moments of his life. But the emotion of this song is something that seems foreboding and at the same time there is hope mixed in. Like he is at the point of no return (in marriage) and that he still doesn't know whether they are meant to be or not. I can't help but feel some sort of dramatic epic feel, especially to that part where he slows down near the end in singing. Just a breathtaking song!

	i love this song. its like, how u can fall in love with this person and you would be completly happy with things always being this way, but then the person changes and you dont want them to, like your afraid you wont love this new personality. your afraid your gonna lose something that you love so much. idk thats just what i think
