	this is one of my favorites from van halen, when the guitar beginns after the jungle sounds ....very powerfull but i can't see any deeper meaning inside , maybe there isn't one

	Greatest moment in movie history is the hamburger scene in "Better Off Dead". If you don't know what I'm talking about, then go out and watch it. You won't be sorry :)

	At the end, David Lee Roth says, "Sure, I'll pay you for it, what the fuck." The obscenity fades just enough that most radio stations don't worry about editing it out.

	I love how "I like..." initially gets interrupted by the guitar line, then Lee gets through the second time with "I like the way the line runs up the back of the stockings". Seems like a happy accidental moment in the studio and they just kept it in.

	Totally agree. Anytime you need a smile, watch that scene- you will never see Cusack, hamburgers or this song the same way again.

	A lot of the song was made up by David since he was drunk or hungover while recording this hence the slured lines and cursing.

	Yeah, pretty clear what everbody wants, and yes, Better Off Dead is a classic! But now I now why I never knew what the hell DLR was saying, in the line about a moonbeam... because it makes no sense!! I mean, what is that line doing there?! At least "Cant getting romantic on a subway line" seems to go with the rest of the song. Either way, one of my favorites.

	I was going to post about the "Sure, I'll pay you for it, what the fuck." line, but someone beat me to it. It always cracks me up to hear that during the fade out on the radio.
