| It's such a dark, depressing-sounding track, but jeez, the lyrics sure seem confident, defiant and positive. Why do I feel sad when I hear it? So, he got out of some crappy place, being there with someone he's singing to from this better place now. He doesn't sound happy about it in the song -- sounds sad, really. Kinda angry, too. Like it's too bad this person couldn't be with him. Hmmm. | |
