| I agree with the first two posters. I think it is about wanting to be unique and individual... and memorable not just something fleeting that fades away (like an echo). But as much as you want that there will always be pressures from either yourself or others to try to compare yourself and conform. My favorite line is "Everyone I know is someone that I want to be, Even though I don't really know me" I think at some point every young adolescent feels that way...so quick to feel bad about themselves and wish they were someone else when they don't even know themselves yet. Love the song. | |
