"Im a sight for my sore eyes" gets to me a lot. we are all that weve got. This song reminds me of people that piss me off that think they know whats good for you but they dont only you do. so when I hear it thats what I think about..

I think this song is about a guy who is in love with a shallow girl.... He is finding himself and she just goes on being shallow. He is capable of deep emotions and can respect them while she flitters around.... I like some suffering. She is careless with his feelings and has no clue about real love... waiting on sombody else agian... It fit perfectly with a girl I was foolish enough to fall for....
