| sounds to me more like this song is about someone that he loved but is now dead. "My friend and me Looking through her red box of memories" He still thinks that shes with him but hes looking through all her old stuff "Eyes open wide Looking at the heavens with a tear in my eye" He looks up and believes that she is up there in heaven and he feels sad to be parted from her "Dreaming about the day when I can see you there" Dreaming about the day he can see her in heaven And he also keeps saying my lord.. as if he is talking to god... well thats what i thought when i read it.. who knows whether thats what its really about | |

| well, I listened to this song many times when I was really heartbroken when someone I cared for didn`t want me..... To me it was all about hope and being positive and being happy with myself even if things are hurting right now. Either way its a terrific heartfelt song :-) | |
