Lyrics:
Verse 1:
In the jungle you can sleep,
With the commandments at your feet,
Where the devil lays his hands,
You dont need to think,
I'm tearin holes without a sink,
But I know just where I stand,
Lines from the story you put before me,
I dont know what to choose,
Under the oak tree tin all around me,
I dont know what to prove
Yeah,
She,
Felt,
You,
Felt,
Like,
Hell
In the jungle x7
And I'll be waiting for a hit yeah,
Aint gonna seem fair tonight,
And I'll keep havin other fits yeah,
Because it makes me feel alright,
Alright alright
So if you should need a hand,
Write down the address of the land,
But Im running out of time
I'll tell you when its time to leave
Your'e never gonna get clean

| Oh duh, I forgot to comment this song. It's like one of the best Vines song. God, I love it. I listen to it all the time. I love the way it's like really like... um... it has a kind bouncing beginning and then it gets kind of slow and all and then it gets all fast and shit. It's so fucking awesome. The Vines are brilliant. | |

| This is one of Craig's best songs! The lyrics are confusing, and he probably has no idea what they mean either (I'm not sure I believe he was on acid, but he is definatly a huge stoner - I bet his bong has a pet name). The music is great! The fast changes in tempo and pitch create a lot of tension that you can't help but get up and jump around to. | |

| Geez I could cry... I cannot stand it when people don't write the lyrics the correct way. It just gets confusing... Can't do without me (felt!) like I could (I'll tell you when it's time to leave) Under the oak tree (you!), tin all around me (felt!) Can't do without me (like) like I could (I'll tell you when it's time to leave) In the jungle (yeah!), you're in the jungle (she!) You're in the jungle (felt!) (I'll tell you when it's time to leave) In the jungle (you!), you're in the jungle (felt!) You're in the jungle (like!) | This is by far my favorite Vines song. I agree AnimalMachine- The music is incredible throughout. I especially recommend listening to it if you happen to puff on the green stuff. It makes you appreciate it that much more. | |

| wow, this is like one of my favorite vines songs. its so powerful lol. but yea this song is definitely about being high. i dont wanna read too much into it but here is a line by line: "In the jungle you can sleep with the commandments at your feet"... i think craig is trying to say that when you get high/stoned, the "state" your in is like being in the jungle. so like when he gets high, he gets goes to this place... which he calls the jungle. and when your high and go to this place, your exempt from all rules [commandments at your feet]. so go ahead and sleep and party and do whatever without being limited by rules or religion "Where the devil lays his hand"... in this "jungle" place, everyone is allowed in, including the devil. so the devil lays his hand because he is confortable there and welcomed "Lines from the story you put before me. I don't know what to choose"... i think that maybe thats about a relationship. lines from the story as in the lies she told. "And I'll be waiting for a hit, yeah"... obviously a hit as in drugs "And I'll keep having other fits, yeah. Because it makes me feel alright, alright"... obviously fits as in fits of being high. also he is saying that yeah i'm still gonna do the drugs and you can't change that because i like it and it makes me feel alright "You're in the jungle. I'll tell you when it's time to leave"... hes talking to someone else who get high and is now in the jungle with him so he is like, ha your in the jungle now, your high! and ill tell you when its time to leave, like he wont leave until it wears off "You're never gonna get clean"... this really confirms my thoughts of this song being about being high. getting clean as in clean and sober off the drugs. so yea thats what i think. but hell, this song rocks! | |

| I think that line kinda means she felt what he was going through she felt like hell because he did, But this song is one of the best i love it when the guitar and bass drop and the drums still hang on and hes screaming in the jungle, that part kicks so much ass, i love these guys. | |
