I absolutely love this song, it really describes how I feel when it rains (the music, not the lyrics). I love the rain! Going out and splashing around like nobody's watching (bare feet are essential) is one of the greatest yet most simple feelings I've ever experienced.

I think he's feeling trapped by some people, and he's getting lost beyond them, and feels like he can't escape. But he feels alone and (betrayed?).

Craig and Patrick in an interview: Craig: “ That one is more kind of ‘classic’ I think. It’s got that kind of sound that’s hard to tie to a particular time. I hope it does, anyway – it does to me. It’s very simple and I don’t know what that means… it’s an innocent sound in an innocent song, I think.” Patrick: “ All Craig's songs are heartfelt but I think this one came out of somewhere even more cardiac. I think that’s the innocence in it that you’re talking about. It’s unaffected. Very snappy drumming by Hamish, by the way.”
