Buenas Tardes Amigo
Ween
Chocolate and Cheese
Standard Tuning
Tabbed by PlanetKiller
All verses share the same chord pattern
(Just acoustic)

Buenas tardes amigo
G Am
Hola, my good friend
G Dm
Cinco de Mayo's on Tuesday
Am G Am
And I hoped we'd see each other again
(Bass enters...)
You killed my brother last winter
You shot him three times in the back
In the night I still hear mama weeping
Oh mama, still dresses in black
I looked at every fiesta
For you I wanted to greet
Maybe I'd sell you a chicken
With poison interlaced with the meat
You... you look like my brother
Mama loved him the best
He was head honcho with the ladies
Mama always said he was blessed
(Keyboard enters...)
The village all gathered around him
They couldn't believe what they saw
I said it was you that had killed him
And that I'd find you and upstand the law
The people of the village believed me
Mama... she wanted revenge
I told her I'd see that she was honored
I'd find you and put you to death
Solo

So now... now that I've found you
On this such a joyous day
I tell you it was me who killed him

| I really think this song is fairly strait forward although some disagree. To me it has always been about a guy who kills his brother and blames it on some other guy (who he later kills) The motive : Throughout the beginning part of the song the lyrics and inflection make the singer very jelous of his brother.... "Mama loved him the best He was head honcho with the ladies Mama always said he was blessed" The line "The people of the village believed me" implies that he fooled them. Why state "they belived me" if its true? The linch pin of course is: "I tell you it was me who killed him But the truth I'll never have to say" I mean that prety much says he killed him and now that he killed the guy he blamed it on hes scott free. Just my 2 cents | |

| this song is alot better live but has a really cool story, and for vulvalove, how can you say it's not like any other ween stuff, when practically every ween song is different in their own humble ways | |

| I think this song is marvellous!!!!!! I love how every song on chocolatre and cheese is different.... however I am unsure as to whether he shot him self or the random dude..... It could be taken in the sense he's talking about himself..... | |

| This was the first ween song i ever heard. It is definetly a bad one to begin with because it is nothing like the rest of Weens stuff. Nevertheless, it still got me into Ween. Nice story. Nice little twist at the end. Funny imitation. | |
