| I may be just a wee Weezer fan, (in fact, the above lyrics are the first that I've read by Weezer) but I am moved nonetheless. "As if I could live on words, and dreams, and a million screams." That line is one of the most beautiful that I've ever had the pleasure of purusing. Absence seems to make the heart forlorn and musically fertile. I would like to say to Rivers, "Man, just fucking call her! You deserve, in your supreme suffering, to sniff and lick more than merely an envelope." Ah well, he'll not read this, too busy wrestling his genius into gourmetable verse for the fans, eh? | |

| Yeah, this song along w/ the rest of the Pinkerton album was based on Madame Butterfly. Um, I heard this song is about a relationship he had w/ a really young (18 yr. old?) Japanese girl that was a big fan of his. | |

| a truly good bad always tries something a little different with each album. look at the Beatles for example, they started out with all pop songs and soon evolved into a complex and unique band that has yet to be matched. weezer has proven they can write good pop songs with the green album and some of the blue, and they have proven they can write deep songs with pinkerton. kudos to them for that. | |
