| Pinkerton is the BEST!! i cannot believe people actually dissed this album! I mean it makes me sick to think that people would actually say that this cd sucked...and it made me pissed too just like it did many fellow Weezer fans that Rivers got SO pissed about this and now hes a meanie to his fans..I MEAN THIS ALBUM ROCKS MY SOCKS!! i love it!!=W=ever!!! | |

| I really hate this song and I skip it every time. It's the only track I don't like off of Pinkerton. But I think I know why... It seems more like the whole album focuses on Rivers' vulnerability. This is the only song where he's on the offensive, where he's the one hurting someone else and he other person doesn't understand him. It's a well written song technically, but I just can't get into it in the context of the album. | |

| watchthefireworks i totally agree with you. I think Rivers should be happy that he did such great songs on Pinkerton, especially this one ... i dont actually think the stuff he does now has as much emotion in it as Pinkerton and the Blue Album had, especially Pinkerton. I think this song is about a guy who likes this girl but she thinks he's playing games when he's actually just being a guy... xoxo rivers | |

| snocore is right...rivers says himself that in this album he spilled his guts about his life to the world...and it also doesn't help that after opening himself up to everyone he gets dissed by it not selling at all...he hates it so much that he says that at concerts he'll start playing a pinkerton song and the crowd will get all happy and then go into a green album song to piss them off and give them a big F U | |

| I think they definitely succeeded in making the green album completely "devoid of emotions". | |

| I feel bad that Rivers is so insecure. Like... He doesn't like anything he did on Pinkerton because it didn't do so great commercially? That's sad. Maybe I am over-analyzing though. | |

| Well that is the only thing I got mad at Rivers for. I stopped listening to Weezer for 3 months after I found out how Rivers reacted to Pinkerton not having any success. Hello! It's not about publicity! The fans, man! We all loved that album (Unless you are some Green Album worshiper, or just don't like it). | |

| I wonder if Rivers is aware of the prestige this album has now amongst people. Everyone from mainstream/indie critics to hardcore fans consider it their best work. It's kind of like The Shawshank Redemption of music albums...underappreciated when it was released but years later revered and beloved by many. | |
