| here's an idea. i think maybe this song is a slight acceptance of bisexuality on rivers part. maybe not completely, but at least a hint of experimentation in which he fell for a guy. hence this song - only to be sung by a girl to keep it from being too public. he is singing at the end, saying "he" - and it also links into the "i've smoked a few in my time" line in pink triangle. as he admits "everyone's a little queer"... anyways, that's what i think... | |

| thats weezerific:cutlery. i think that this song is rivers writing what he'd like a girl to write about him. most of his songs are about how a girl he likes doesn't like him so i think its him writing about a girl that likes him and is regretting dumping him. or something like that... | |

| I think I'm the only one who wasn't a fan of Rachel stepping in for vocals...I love the lyrics and the music, but she just didn't do it for me I guess. The instrumentals are weezer, but with Rivers's voice not at the forefront, it just doesn't feel right... She doesn't do a bad job, but it just doesn't feel right. Kind of like generic peanut butter (?). | |

| this song is interesting because rivers wrote it from a female's perspective and then got a girl to sing it. that's so cool. | |

| I would have to agree with Bondgirl007. When i first heard this song my thoughts on it weren't as positve as all of yours are. Don't get me wrong, Weezer is my favorite band in the world and i wouldn't say anything to disrespect, but without River's lead vocals i can't really dig it. Besides that the music on a whole, is awesome. | |

| this song is awesome, rivers is a freaking genius for writing a song from a girls point of view. not very many other bands would do that. i love this song to death.. "never before have i felt this way, noone is right, want for him to stay" | |
