	i read its about jen chiba who rivers wanted to comfort after elliott smith (he bf) died, but didnt cuz he did'nt want old feelings to arise and he's regretting not calling her and comforting her note: if u dont know who elliott smith is go check out his music

	This is the best song off of Make Believe, and believe me finding a good song off that cd is like looking for a needle in a haystack. i mean, wtf is beverly hills, that is not weezer. im convinced aliens abducted rivers and replaced him with dome pop obsessed hippie who writes the shit on make believe

	This song isn't quite written as consolation to Chiba, it's a little bit darker then that. Rivers actually went out with her before she and Smith got involved; this song is about him wanting to console her, but he can't because he's concerned that his only motivation is to try to get back with her.

	I Found this song through a friend who had the lyrics as a display name...song fits me perfectly....i like this girl...but im scared to say nething because of how ive hurt her in the past. somehow...i have a feeling that shes going to read this sometime....cause its her i found the song through...so yea...i think you know who you are....and ill say this here...incase i never get the guts to tell you....i do like you...ive never been more certain of it in my life...

	I have many fears about rejection I have many memories of pain I have always been a little shy so I'll turn and look the other way I know this comment is cliche, but the song makes so much sense to a shy person who is afraid of getting hurt. The person likes someone, wants to get to know them. But they are afraid of rejection and of getting hurt, so they look the other way and give up on getting to know the person before they have the chance to make anything happen. That's what I've always done.

	This is my favorite on Make Believe. Probably my favorite Weezer song. I never took it as someone shy who was unable to say they like someone, to me this song reminds me how I would always screw things up in relationships even though I had the best intentions. It's my bitter song that I listen to in order to remind myself

	According to Wikipedia, Rivers wrote this song "about wanting to console Jennifer Chiba about Smith's death". Although it's on Make Believe and not as good as most Weezer songs, generally older, it's sweet it's about Elliott Smith because I really don't think too many songs could be dedicated to that amazing man.
