A True fan of Weezer can see the beauty of this song. But then, a true fan would let Rivers pee on them. This song is terrible. It sounds like a 10-year-old trying to do gonzo journalism. And that whole "Give it to me!" thing made me sad for weezer. They've fallen so far...

i am not much of a weezer fan, my sister happens to be so when im in her car we listen to it and this is one of the songs i happend to start to like. i think it is a funny song and also interesting how he has half of the song to seem fun and you are having a good time when you are on drugs, but then after the first chorus it gets more sad and depressing "and the best of your days will all vanish in the haze when you're on drugs and you'll wish you could quit once you're really sick of it but you're on drugs" this seems like the way drugs affect you alot, at first its all about havving a good time when you are hanging with your friends, but then they tear apart your life and you cant stop....which kinda sucks balls, but i think its a pretty good song, i enjoy listening to it every once in a while

This song is about the lead singer coming to terms with his drug abuse problem.

not every song has to be some deep meaningful song. I think this songs adds a little fun energy to the album.

let me get this out of the way first. I think Rivers Cuomo is a very talented musician. I loved their Blue album and Pinkerton. But since then they've gone downhill..fast. (although it could be argued that maladroit is better than the green album) I listened to the whole make believe album, and sadly it was full of horrible lyrics and generic rock riffs. He has fallen a long way from his stellar debut. This song in particular is probably the worst Weezer song i've heard. It's lyrics are obviously anti-drugs which is ok but it comes across as a song you would hear during an educational film in health class in middle school. Not a very effective anti-drug message when sesame street could do it better. I really hope Rivers wakes up from his long slump, but until then Don't buy this CD and if you already did at least skip over this track everytime.

yes yes yes I see what alisonfire is saying; i did not think of that when I first heard the song. When I first heard it I thought it was the worst weezer song ever (which is saying a lot because there is much competition in that catagory in green and maladroit). I think that if the song is really about overstimulation, Rivers could have portrayed that theme better, without cheesy riffs and lines such as "I want to confiscate your drugs." oh god.
