| I think this song is about being attracted to someone physcially. Yet, as in real situations, Rivers shows that sometimes you get so wrapped up in the physical attraction that you start attaching real emotions to the desire. Eventually, you may get with the person, but in the long run, there was never anything there, leaving you hurt.
