think about it, this song is about the world ending. or as you religious nuts might call it, the apocalypse. It's starting out with a war, obviously an invasion, as its "outside, my door" and then john the revelator starts the religious aspect (picture god smiting all the evil) with the last verse being jack's repent to god.

I think this songs simply about a man ready for the rapture. He knows he's done wrong and doesn't regret it. He's yelling in God's face to be punished for his sins. That's what I make of it.

wow, you people suck. This is perhaps the most brilliant combination i've ever seen from an artist of words and music to accompany and perfectly deliver their point... and yet, all you can say about it is "its like...awesome" and something about a crazy man singing. just read these, THINK about them for a moment, and then listen to the song, and it will change your life

Not war pigs but the main riff does have a strong resemblance to the main riff in electric funneral by Black sabbath
