| ok guys, i'm not too sure about the song itself, but i think someone here said it was about virginity which sounds right to me, but ANYWAYS, i think i caught the whole beggining thing with your help. Tanyyep says that she says "c'est de gens qui" but i'm pretty sure she says "C'est deja que t'est..." (or in english, "it's just that you're already..." i dunno about the translation, but whatever) I'm PRETTY sure that's it, but we could call jack and meg and ask if they know. but i doubt two twenty year old musicians from detroit learned any french in school. maybe they did on their off-time? wait,, i forgot, jack doesnt have "Off-Time" | |

| There was some banter between Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart when the White Stripes were on the Daily show. Stephen said, "Could you (Jon) ask Jack if the riff on 'Jumble, Jumble' off their 'De Stijl' album was an homage to Iggy Pop 'cause it always sounded like early 'Stooges' to me or maybe 'MC5'?" Can anyone relate to Stephen's comment? | |
