| i'm so sure this has nothing to do with incest whatsoever. it's like telling women to remember that they're women in a male dominated world i think. the 'difference between a father and a lover' could be telling a woman that not all men are as sincere and generally frightening as her father. at first i thought it said 'a father and a mother' and i was like '..work it out?', but no it is clever. and i think meg's voice is gorgeous in this song :) a pretty voice to match a pretty face. | |

| I love this simple song, and I think it means that there are two kinds of guys out there. One will treat you like a kid, like he's your father or something and can tell you what to do.
