| This song has that tune that is really good to drive to. Ok...well...I have never driven a car in my life, so you are probably thinking well how would I know. The song was featured on GTA:San Andreas... | |

| it's a great song about the 80's, although it was written in '81. it's about living in excess and like opinionhead said, partying all the time. another great song from The Whos last album: It's Hard | |

| As others have said, this song is about people who hide behind their power/wealth and believe they are invincible. Also, despite The Who NOT being a punk band, these lyrics are an example of what punk music should try to express. Unfortunately, punk music is all about kids turning up their guitars as loud as they can and screaming incoherently into their mics. | |

| Pete had much opportunity to observe the wealthy and powerful up close, and clearly could see that although on the outside these people seem superior and more blessed than the rest of us, underneath it is often the opposite case. Often their success has been achieved in an effort to get away from low self-esteem, self-hatred, loneliness, etc., and underneath the veneer of superiority lives a scared little child. | |

| I like this song a lot, but it's sad that it's one of The Who's last hits. It reminds me of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, The Great Gatsby. | |

| It sounds really funky almost like a disco tune but with much more restraint on the guitar, synth, and bass. I really like it even though it was one of their last hits. Who is the drummer that replaced Moon after he died? | |
