Amazing song, love the guitar in borth parts of it. I really don't know if Pete is gay or not, I've heard it many times, wouldn't suprise me much. Still one of the best guitar players, and song writers ever.

How can My Wifre be Pete talking about being homosexual, when it was written and sung by the late John Entiwsistle?

I Always thought it ment about being in the spot light. How he has to remain in control and keep up the music even if he thinks it's hard. It's always made sense to me like that, but maybe I am crazy.

I'm not sure whether it's about homosexuality, i do agree with every one the greatness of this song, and how that greatness is achieved through simplicity contrasting the more complicated (at least to the untrainted ear) to listen to.As far as Hitler, it seems possible, however, i doubt it. Just a side note Townshend was in a rock band for a while in the late sixties with Fredie Mercury, draw from taht what you will.
