| I try to take songs less literally. I think he is talking about himself as this thing that is dead. I feel he is in this state of misery/depression which is almost like being dead. But, for some reason it can all be so beautiful. | |

| @punkrockprincess19 It makes sense if you read it a couple of times over. In this song there's a dead guy/girl/thing (or maybe a cat =P) lying on the ground and the people gather around it. These people are shocked about what happened, (yeah no shit a dead guy on the floor >.>), but this guy just can't understand why these people make such a fuss about it. He refers "Death" as something "beatifull", a miracle you can call it, because he relies it's just something that belongs to life as light belongs to dark. You don't necessary have to think death is something awfull, but the crowd doesn't understands this and that's why they are looking at him with "Bitter Dislike" | |

| I think the song is about realizing that death might not be tragedy..they seem to refer to it as a "masterpiece" meaning that rather than take death as something bad, they are looking at it as something more like a miracle..the opposite of life..and they've come to this amazing realization that death is just a fact of life, and if you can grasp that concept than you can understand that it isn't really a sad thing..but since most people don't see that they dont understand..thats why in the song people are staring at him with "bitter dislike" i don't know if that makes sense but that's what i got from the song | |
