this song trips me out, it looks like it has some sort of good meaning but i cant see it, i dont think im in the right state of mind (i.e stoned)

The meaning is kinda like akuna matada (from lion king). Its saying that theres no use dwelling on the past, because you cant change it. But you CAN change the future, so you should put more effort into it than wallowing in self pity. It would be a good lesson for emos, if any of them listened to Wolfmother....

nah...dont worry...the lyrics are slightly fu**ed... love HAS turned to spite THE answer flowing in the tide well....there may be more mistakes... but those r the ones i found.

I've found many connections to Shakespeare's play "a midsummer night's dream", noteably in the chorus, but I don't think it's the kind of song (like "The Battle of Evermore") that is completely based on a piece of literature

This song is so fucking amazing. it is by far my favorite Wolfmother song if any band today is worth listening to its Wolfmother, all these shitty hardcore, screamo, rap, and pop bands are a mockery of music but Wolfmother is bringing back the classic sounds that was in a time that music meant rocking out and flowing with your emotions to the songs you wrote or listened to. gaddamn i love these guys haha
