| I actually know what this song is about, he talked about it in a recent concert - its his wifes grandmother dying a number of years ago. Great song, one of his best - although an old one he never plays called Nevonotesh is probably my favorite | |

| this song is definately about either his mother or grandmother passing. "The woman who lit the light For a family in the dark" shows that this lady was a good provider for an otherwise struggling family. "starring at the mirror, i see you smile through my own" his smile is something passed down to him through his genes, hence the relative. He writes such beautiful music does Xavier, sometimes its hard to see the full meanings behind his songs.. | |

| This song is definitely about somebody much loved passing away. It sounds like a breakup song too, except for: "Thank you for the happiness That you gave to our lives Although now our hearts are cracked And our tears are slow to dry We must count ourselves The lucky ones For we were with you in your prime" To me it's very clear it's about somebody dying or moving away. 'Keep in touch' could be someone moving away, or it could be a romantic way of missing a dead person? | |
