| this song is awesome...the way I see it it's like they had to break up because of the band and all the touring and the lifestyle...like, when they began the relationship, the band was small and his girlfriend supported them a lot. but then it started taking all of his time, tearing them apart. but as things between them were perfect, they kind of had to find a reason to break up so he could go on with the always-away-touring-band-lifestyle. that's what made the break-up so painful...they had to finish the relationship even though things were great between them. | |

| firewater is a tipical brazillian drink made with sugar cane, but Mezzaca3 sounds really right, specially because, yes, a bottle of firewater may kill you, but it's not for sure. with pills is easier to die. to me seems like both love eachother, but they have to break up cuz she is getting too posesive and he can't take it anymore. | |

| hey guys i have a question, he says swallow this bottle whole and not "drink" this bottle whole. Its weird because i first heard this song after a good friend of mine tried to commit suicide. She swallowed 2 whole bottles of tylenol before i walked in and found her lying in her bead and i called the cops and they brought her to the hospital. So, this song had an extreme amount of meaning to me after this. When i first heard this song i thought that he was referring to swallowing a bottle of pills because he says he'd "rather be dead" alcohol doesnt necessarily kill you like pills do. Do you guys think this song is about alcohol or pills? im not sure if im biased just because of my state when i first heard this song, thinking it means pills means a lot mroe to me, so if anyone knows please email me mezzaca3@tcnj.edu | |

| This song is awesome, probably the highlight of the Punk Goes Acoustic cd and that's aan awesome cd all-around. I could relate to this song so much after me and my girlfriend of a long time broke up, except for the drinking part, especially the line "all along I should have know this wasn't your dream it was mine" | |

| this ong is exactly what I am going through at the moment, and what happens to lots of people. A harsh break-up results in alcohol abuse. The line that gets me is "I won't be sleeping much tonight. It's not the same without you lying by my side" | |
