hmm, i think this is possibly about the same person that Ryan had written "Rocket" about... because of the lyrics at the end of both songs.

Wanna Be
#4 by John Merritt at Feb 14, 1992 at 7:37 PM EST
this song explains my breakup perfectly, Even if I wanted to I don't think that I'd get to you There's nothing I can say to you to make you feel alive again *this means there is nothing the person can say to get things back to the way they were, no way to make them realzie that. So don't just say goodbye to me Just turn your back away and leave And if you're lucky I will be your last regret, your only friend *that measn just turn away and leave dont say goodbye just yet because if they come back he will be ur last regret, ur only friend. I guess that this is over now I guess it's called the falling out But everyday I'm learning how to make it through this life I'm in *its over and there learning how to cope with it.

My best friend sent me this song after we had a massive agument and i told him i never want to speak to him again. He sent me this and told me i tore him up inside because he loved me as more than a friend and he quoted the ' the two of us we dream like one'. It made me upset at first but then i understood the lyrics and i listen to it whenever i feel angry at him..to remind me how he feels when we argue.

I think this is about a guy who loves the person he can't have.. and he can be her friend, though it hurts to know that the girl he loves, loves someone else...but then the girl is hurting so much because of fights with his bf. well.. imho.

this reminds me of a breakup i had with someone, they treated me like poop and all the time i couldnt leave because i wanted to fix them or something but then i realise i couldnt just like the lyric "even if i wanted to, i dont think i could get to you theres nothing i can say to you to make you feel alive again" i even sent this song to him!

its about the relationship ending but he still holds lingering feelings for her and perhaps a little rejection as well as bitterness. Sounds like she hurt him but he still misses her.

i think...... they were in a relationship, he still likes her, but he realizes its over. but continues to wonder if she ever thinks about him- here, a little jealousy, i hope you think of me- but he isnt going to try anymore, to get her back.

almost sounds like a relationship song because the of the following near the middle of the end. The two of us we dream like one The two of us, the two of us The two of use take breath like one The two of us, the two of us that makes it sounds like a relationship song but the realtionship is on its way to dying of this also: Even if I wanted to I don't think that I'd get to you There's nothing I can say to you to make you feel alive again
