This is by far one of Yellowcard's lamest songs. I can relate to most of the songs on Ocean Avenue, but this one has absolutely no adult content. Basically, it is a letter of admiration to the father of the lead singer. Come on, he's like 25 years old! I seriously think that Yellowcard made a huge mistake writing this song. I would have prefered another Inside Out or Miles Apart instead of this garbage.

Dude, that's just retarded, this is a good song, it's a very good song. Or it is to me, it means something to me, my dad has been unemployeed for the last 10 years of my life, when I was younger, he was in shape, coached region champion softball teams, we always had money and went on vacation, and when I was younger, I wanted to be just like him. Now that I'm older and about to leave home after graduating, it's like, I never want to be my like my dad, overweight, worthless, jobless, and what not. But this song brings back memories of when I was younger, as a guy, it can almost brings me to tears if I listen to it at a certain time and I get enough into the lyrics and enough into my past memories. The lyrics are good and the singing is good as well, wonderful song.

Nobody's commented yet? Why?? This is a great song. Its about the love a father can give to a boy. Livin in a family of all guys and no mom, i understand the relationship even if im a girl. This is just great. By the way, the last lyric is thank you for my LIFE dad. just thought you wanted to know. =)
