| "Angels weep along with us, watching you shun Christ's sacrifice" This song speaks to me about people who have had a taste of Christianity, who have had a bitter experience for some reason. These people purposely do not wish to go back to Christ. I know people like this, i find it sad. It says that be careful not to let a brother fall, this song speaks of this situation gone wrong. | |

| This is a great song. Not only is the music amazing, the lyrics have great meaning. 1."Turned away by a misrepresentation" or turned away by served incorrectly or dishonestly presentations of christanity..such as.. 2."Stained glass and white washed tombs" Or spending too much money on ritualistic things. We dont need fancey churchs to worship christ. 3."Were never homes to the God they tried to show you" We won't havea true connection with god until we let the materialsim out of our worship...we won't be homes meaning we won't be able to let in the god that we have been shown by the churchs that spend thousands of dollars monthly on recreational uses such as adding new speaker systems or a new plasma TV for the people to watch. Church isnt about watching words scroll over a tv. 4."They spoke out of prejudice and ritualism" I'm not positive what Zao ment by this part, but what I think of is all of the people that worship in certain ways, tell everyone who doesnt belive excatly he smae as them they are going to hell ect ect.. and have all these uneeded unholy rituals to their worship. People who worship in small groups outside with jsut abible and a hymn book are bigger and more deicated christains than people who spend $100 to go on a youth trip to panama city and ignore that there are starving people in the world. and people who know nothing about god. 5."They themselves were lost" Probably talking about the "worship leader" or "priests" or "pastors" whatever you want to call the, who have been taught to worship in a materialistic way. 6."angels fold their wings And they fold their wings And weep along with us watching you shun Christ's sacrifice" Angels are sad to see what chirstainity has come to. When we are taught about christ the way we have been. Every time our churchs spend money on their electric systems, or new builngs that are unnecessary ect ect... we are shunning the sacrafice that christ made for us. That's the impression this song gives me. This song is truely amazing. | |

| well, this speaks more of hypocrites and fake Christians giving real Christians a bad name... the 'misrepresentation' is how the people misrepresent Christ... the 'stained glass and white-washed tombs' are part of the false image of Christianity people have been given... "the hearts of those...to show you" is talking about how people call themselves Christians but Christ isn't truly in their heart... "they spoke...were lost" talks about how they were only telling the people (that this song is written for) about Jesus not because they really cared, but because they were prejudice and that the empty ritual that their faith has become is not true... and the last two lines talk about how the true Christians along with angels in heaven cry because the people are shunning Christ because a few hypocrites gave Christianity a bad name... the part at the begining says: "I remember the first war, the way the sky burned The faces of angels destroyed I saw a third of Heaven's legion banished And the creation fell/of Hell (?) I stood with my brothers and watched and listened to the revolt But now, my brothers aren't my brothers" | |

| Definatley my favorite Zao song. I agree with the post about churches full of stained glass and such not being a true house for God. BTW. I love this band, and I am one of those people who have turned away from Christianity and God in general, but thats just my current belief. I do like Zao alot though. Strong lyrics and great music with a strong message. My interest in the bible and in relegions in general (educational wise, not belief wise) is what attacts me to this band. | |
