| Alex actually said that he got the inspiration for the song from a bunch of teen suicides in Norway. Apparently, a bunch of teenagers went online to find people tocommit suicide with(by way of a website, dronline). He also said its about human's dependancy on technology and machines. | |

| I believe this song is about Quake(or any other shooter) "Everybody online?" Asking if everybody is signed into the game "Take your place when you are gone" When you die, or have to leave, a comrade will take your place and when you come back you take up a new position. "Its the begining of the end, you want everything to go faster" Its saying its the begining of the end of the battle, the battle is almost done and you want it to go faster so you have a fast victory, or defeat if you are on the losing side. | |

| The version of the song I have is, "If you would like to make a reservation at the end of our drowning pool, please press three." NOT to 'visit the dorwning pool'. I think that there may be two different versions of the song. But there is no mistaking, my version absolutely says, "at the end of", not "visit the end of".(No mistaking something that sounds so VASTLY different.) | |

| I honestly think this song is talking about shooting games, like Quake. In the video, Alex has a tattoo, and it looks like the Quake I trademark symbol, weird, eh? However, how all the lyrics fit with a shooting game, beats me. (Maybe suicide as in blowing yourself up with a rocket launcher? :D And someone taking your place as in, when you get pissed off, you leave the computer/console, and someone takes your place..) | |
