| This is easily my favorite song on the album, the backing vocals on the chorus are flippin' sweet. | |

| I think JxPx is stretching. Ask anybody's girlfriend about "this man you love, this boy you hate". It probably means that she loves him sometimes, but others he acts like a little boy and she can't stand it. | |

| "this man you love" - God "this boy you hate" - Jesus A possible calling out of people who acknowledge God, but don't believe in Jesus? I really think that Billy Corgan has dove into Christian theology. This album is full of references, this being one of them. "This boy you chance, this man you'll find" Jesus said in the Bible that belief in him is the only way to the Father... Anyway, this is a love song...so, you could see it as either God's love or human love. | |

| but it is called declaration of faith and lyric sets the tone for the whole album with it's repetitions of 'here comes my faith...' billy is deeply religious, and a lot of his songs include religion if you choose to look for it... sometimes it is blatant, sometimes it is not... i personally think it's a little over the top sometimes (jesus, i), but i still love the songs musically... but i personally find anyone who is so in-your-face about religion to be kind of obnoxious... keep it to yourself, please! | |
