here comes my faith to carry me on
blah...not a...blah(?)
fight to stay strong
Pre-chorus:
G Bm G
so I stand accused of playing on
Bm A G
i know it's wrong, so i gear my strength
Bm E
in my heart to take these shames
G
and hope they dissolve
Bm
for i will scar
A
i must shine
the season is mine
Chorus: play intro riff over this
a lyric, a time, a crusade, a lie
a minute afraid, a road without end
a lyric, a time, a crusade, a lie
a minute afraid, a road without end
A G
so here is the view
Bm
i curse your brow
E
i laid in your room
for you to get out
Intro riff break:
you'll never get out
Next verse, prechorus, and chorus: same as first
'cause i hear you cry without an inside
[?]
i need you as my way
across my life to spend these years
create a new thought
for my heart gives my strength
i offer my heart to take these shames
and hope they dissolve
i must shine
'cause i will scar
the season all mine
chorus

| Anyone notice how much Corgan references faith in this album? Add the Mary, Star of the Sea/Jesus, I track and the crusade reference...no, I'm not suggesting he's Christian. But he seems to have a fascination with Christianity, no? | |

| and for all of you who think this is some totally different billy corgan, you obviously didn't pay enough attention to the pumpkins... the two most important sp members continued to zwan, they still employ lots of overdubbed guitars, and, most importantly, the PUMPKINS did sweet, emotional 'prozac' stuff, too. So many people out there only know Bullet with Butterfly Wings, Ava Adore, maybe Zero, and Today and Disarm (with depressed/rageful lyrics if not a depressed sound)... but can't bring themselves to associate songs like Beautiful, Porcelina, Rocket, By Starlight, etc with the Pumpkins, because it doesn't fit their image of badass, angst-driven Billy Corgan. Too bad for them. | |

| People this song is amazing. Come on, about how religion/beleifs appear to constrrain but actually do quite the opposite. 'So take these chains and hold them as our' and 'a faith, not a grave' explain it. | |

| Mogs, you ought to be shot. perhaps god does = god. but so does billy corgan. god = god = billy corgan. as proven by this incredible song preceeding many other amazing tracks on the, unfortunately, only album by Zwan | |
